In 2023 Beth Long and I created a Y-DNA project at FamilyTreeDNA for Jews from Maramaros descent.

As members joined the project, we helped them research their family trees and  “rediscover” the families and personalities who populated the region. We often collaborate with other researchers such as Yaakov Schatz & Heshy Nove who post these reconstructed trees to Geni.com.

In August 2024 we began this blog to publish some of our research findings in essay form.
